What is LIBstick?

LIBstick is a cloud-based printing service that is specifically designed to cater to the label printing requirements of libraries

Who is managing LIBstick?

The Information Systems team at the Elyachar Center Library, located at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, oversees the management of LIBstick.

What is the meaning behind the name “LIBstick”?

The name “LIBstick” is a combination of two words: “Library” and “sticker,” representing its purpose as a label printing solution for libraries.

Is LIBstick free?

You have the option to experience the full version of LIBstick for a duration of 3 months. Once this period concludes, you will be required to select from three available subscription plans.

Which systems can LIBstick integrate with?

LIBstick has the capability to connect with any system that provides an API interface. Currently, LIBstick is connected to Ex Libris Alma, FOLIO, and Koha. If there is a need to add additional connectors, please inform us.

Can the LIBstick license be used in multiple libraries?

Yes, the LIBstick account is associated with a specific Library Management System (such as FOLIO or Alma). Any libraries that are connected to this system can also utilize LIBstick.

Is there a restriction on the number of users or templates allowed in LIBstick?

No.

What are the purposes of the LIBstick license payments?

The license payments are utilized by the central library to provide support, cover cloud hosting expenses, implement new features, and ensure the system’s maintenance and continuous operation.
